TCU Go! Introducing Triangle’s First ITMs

At Triangle, we strive to ensure that our members are provided with the latest technology services that are accessible and convenient. TCU Go is our new member initiative for making our services easier, faster, and better; part of this initiative includes Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs) at our new Merrimack Branch!

What exactly is an ITM? We sat down with Mark Warner, Executive Vice President of Triangle Credit Union, to answer our top four questions about our innovative line of technology.

What’s the difference between an ITM and an ATM?

ITMs provide more functionality and features that are not available with traditional ATMs. ATMs are limited to withdrawals, deposits, and transfers. With ITMs, if you need assistance, you have the ability to talk with our Contact Center via live video. They give you an interactive experience, just as if you were standing in front of a teller. It also has the ability to bring more self-service to our membership while offering the convenience of receiving live support when needed.

Will interactive tellers be available 24/7?

Our live support will be available during our normal business hours, then the ITM will function as a traditional ATM after business hours.

What type of transactions can I make with an ITM?

You can do anything you could typically do inside a branch at the teller line, such as order and cash checks, make deposits, withdrawals, and make loan payments.

I’ve never used an ITM before, will I be able to get help if I need it?

Absolutely! All you need to do is press the “help” button to video chat with a live person from our Contact Center and they’ll walk you through each step.
