Triangle Credit Union is pleased to announce the recent hire of Christine Malloy, who joined the Triangle team as a Commercial Lending Officer in March. In her role, Malloy will work closely with the credit union’s business members to facilitate capital funding to grow their business.
“One area I most enjoy within banking is commercial lending and I am thankful to be part of the Triangle Commercial Services. I look forward to working with our branch managers and staff to help with business development and enhance commercial lending knowledge for the benefit of our current business membership and new incoming members,” said Malloy.
Malloy has 34 years in the financial services sector, including extensive operational and mortgage lending experience with credit unions. Prior to joining Triangle, Malloy owned Residence North Mortgage in Windham, NH for 7 years. Most recently, her role was Business Banking Officer for a large regional bank.
John Ziemba, Senior Vice-President of Commercial Lending and Business Services, added, “Christine comes to the credit union with a strong business background. She is a welcomed addition to our commercial team.”
In addition to her prior work experience, Malloy has a BA in Communications and Business Management from Simmons College; she has been, and continues to be, an active board member of the Derry Londonderry Chamber of Commerce and has recently been appointed Vice-Chair of the Executive Committee. She has also served on Boards of the Merrimack Chamber and the High Hopes Foundation of NH. Malloy resides in Bedford, NH with her husband of over 30 years and has two adult daughters who live and work in Massachusetts.
