Triangle Credit Union Raises Funds for Hurricane Relief
Triangle Credit Union Raises Funds for Hurricane ReliefComment October 10, 2017 by Triangle Credit Union
The 2017 hurricane season has left a path of destruction and it’s still not over. Puerto Rico was particularly devastated by Hurricane Maria earlier this month.
Triangle Credit Union, in conjunction with The Salvation Army of Nashua, has helped raised funds to support the recovery effort in Puerto Rico. The Credit Union committed to match member contributions up to $2,500 for this effort. Triangle members responded with donations that were accumulated online and in-branch. The results of this drive yielded a $5,669 donation for hurricane relief.
Maurice Simard, President & CEO of Triangle Credit Union, commented, “We could not be happier to participate in this initiative. We are proud of every member who donated to this worthy cause, and hope our contribution helps in the restoration of Puerto Rico.”
