President's Message: Fall 2015

Comment October 1, 2015 by Maurice D. Simard, Jr., President/ CEO

A "Better Way to Bank" is more than our tagline; it is the way we do business. Since 1939, Triangle's initiatives have been to grow and expand convenient products and services for our members.

Because we believe that members benefit from our services, we are asking you to help us grow. Triangle is currently offering a new membership promotion to win a weekend away! Consider a trip to Boston, the Maine coast or the New Hampshire White Mountains, and you could win by simply encouraging your family and friends to open an account and try our services. Any new member you refer will be entered to win a weekend away and you, our referring member, will also be entered to win a weekend away-that's two valuable prizes worth $500 each!

You may want to let them know that doing business with Triangle is easy and convenient. You need not go to a branch to transact business. Everything can be done through our user friendly online banking system. If a higher interest rate on your savings is what you are looking for, consider our Online Savings deposit account. This account will pay you a very competitive rate of 0.65% APY. There is a very low $100 minimum requirement to open the account. You can open this account either online or at the Credit Union. This money is completely liquid and accessible at any time. You simply need to transfer your money to your checking account and write a check to where you need to send the money.

Triangle is always looking to add value and to enhance our banking services. We are pleased to announce that we will soon offer a new identity theft protection service that will be tied to our newly enhanced Better Checking account. There are more details in the TCU University section of our newsletter. Please take a look and see how these new checking account features will bring value in terms of safety and security.

Many wishes to you and enjoy the colorful season ahead!
