Hello everyone, I am Lana, currently the branch manager of the Derry Branch. I was born and raised in Brazil and moved to the United States when I was 16. I have been living in NH for 14 years. For the last 7 years I’ve been working at Triangle Credit Union.
I would like to talk about my growth and experiences at the credit union. I started as a teller at the Elm St branch and soon after, got promoted to a Financial Services Representative. A year later, I got a chance to become a part of the management team as a Head Teller. Being a head teller, I got an insight on what it’s like to be a leader.
In 2012 I became an assistant manager at the South Nashua location, and in 2013 I got promoted to a branch manager, which led me to my current position. Triangle Credit Union has a lot of opportunities for growth within the company.
Being at TCU also gave me a chance to be involved in the local community such as The Greater Derry Londonderry Chamber of Commerce, Boys and Girls club and Make a wish foundation, and also be involved with other Credit Unions internationally.
2 years ago, TCU had the honor of hosting Credit Union representatives from Brazil, for which I was involved in the translation process and answered questions about how banking works in the US, and our involvement in the community.
The event was so successful that we have the opportunity once again to host the representatives of the Brazilian Credit Unions at our Franklin St location again this year.
These are some of the reasons why I am proud to be a part of TCU’s team, and I am looking forward to continuing a successful career at TCU.
