It's Time for the Holiday Stroll

Imagine 30,000 people strolling (side by side) along a quintessential New England Main Street, by candlelight, in hopes of seeing Saint Nicolas or the magnificent Christmas tree lighting on top of the hill. If you’ve ever attended Nashua’s Holiday Stroll then you’ve experienced such a phenomenal event

The air is usually chilly and filled with good cheer. Main Street restaurants and businesses are open for shoppers to check out their unique goods and menu items. Local musicians play throughout the evening, with different venues hosting an array of melodious sounds. Don’t forget to visit Martha’s Exchange to view and vote on the Home for the Holidays Gingerbread House Contest; and of course, Triangle’s 110 Main Street location is a must–stop for candy canes and free hot chocolate!

Festivities begin at 5:00 PM on Saturday, November 29th with the procession starting at City Hall. Plan on getting downtown early though, as Main Street and surrounding roads will start to close down by 3:30 PM. Parking is available at the Elm Street Parking Garage, High Street Parking Garage and the Southern NH Medical Center Parking Garage. Shuttles will also run from Rivier University and Holman Stadium from 4:00 PM to 10:30 PM.

The Nashua Holiday Stroll was voted Best Family Event in Nashua for 2014 by area residents. Come out to experience the Stroll for yourself! Bundle up and bring your family for this free, fun and enlightening event! For additional information on the Stroll, visit the
