President's Message: Winter 2017

Comment  December 30, 2016 by Maurice D. Simard, Jr., President/CEO

Season’s Greetings to all! With the New Year upon us, I always enjoy taking a moment to reflect on the successes the Credit Union accomplished over the past year.

In 2016, Triangle Credit Union grew in membership. The merger of St. Joseph Hospital Employees’ Credit Union helped with this growth. Our team quickly and successfully integrated the new 172 Kinsley Street Branch in October and now this office offers the full array of Triangle’s products and services.

Triangle received two major community endorsements. We were voted “Best Credit Union” for both the Souhegan Valley and Greater Nashua regions. A sincere thank you to all members who voted for Triangle—your vote reflects the confidence you’ve placed in us to be your credit union.

As a member, you know safety and security are crucial to us. We constantly monitor methods to make transactions more secure. This fall, we enhanced our debit cards with a built-in EMV security chip. This chip provides additional security measures against fraudulent transactions. Should you have any questions or want more information on EMV chip cards, please read our FAQs or contact us

Throughout the year, Triangle has been a leader in offering competitive deposit and lending products. We are currently promoting a very competitive Holiday Cash loan, with two options available:

  • As low as 6.99% APR up to 60 months
  • As low as 7.99% APR up to 84 months

These are great rates and I encourage you to look at this product as a viable option for your debt consolidation.

The end of the year means we will soon be embarking on Triangle’s Annual Meeting. Please note, our 78th Annual Meeting will be held on Sunday, February 26, 2017 at Nashua Country Club. If you plan to attend, please reserve your seat.

On behalf of the entire Triangle team, I thank you for making 2016 a very successful year and wish you a most prosperous New Year!
