Our Values

We Branch Out. Whether you visit one of our branches or our back office, you will see that Triangle has a rich diverse workforce. Our staff represents a 70:30 women-to-men ratio, with age ranges from 18-68, representing 10 nationalities, and 12 languages spoken.

We Equip. Part of Triangle's vast learning environment includes classroom training, continuous online training, financial support for job-related education, cross-training, and mentoring.

We Grow. There are opportunities for growth for excellent performers, and we support many local educational initiatives, such as the Academy of Finance, that offer summer internships.

Triangle is an excellent place to begin a career in banking, as:

  • All employees learn a great deal about business and finance in our classrooms, and through our online and webinar courses
  • Managers coach their employees for success
  • Internal applicants are favored
  • Over one-third (1/3) of our jobs are filled internally
  • We provide cross-training after a period of time on the job
  • We recognize talent and develop employees who excel
  • Tuition reimbursement is available for job-related courses
  • Self-starters are rewarded

As you consider whom you would prefer to work for, there are specific positive points about joining Triangle's team:

  • We are financially sound
  • We are small enough so that everyone is known, but large enough to provide growth opportunities
  • Ours is a supportive learning environment
  • Our environment is cooperative rather than competitive
  • Our members truly like working with us and trust us
  • The number of employees who leave annually is very low
  • We celebrate being a diverse work force
