Consumer Loan Processor (Nashua)

Role: To assist members and dealers with their consumer lending needs; process in timely manner based on Lending Policy. 

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all contact center or online applications are reviewed within four (4) hours and the member is informed
  • Ensure that indirect loans (CUDL) are funded within the allowed timeframe
  • Ensure that indirect loans (CUDL) comply with the credit union loan policy
  • Working in partnership with indirect dealers
  • Assists FSR with member loan applications and recommends loan options
  • Participates in sales development activities. Cross sells other credit union services
  • Keeps informed of current regulations concerning consumer lending
  • Prepares and/or reviews all loan documents for completeness and accuracy, in a timely manner
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Expectations:

  • Service both internal and external members in obtaining consumer loans
  • Maintain a professional, courteous, and friendly atmosphere for members and co workers
  • Troubleshoot and resolve member and internal inquiries in a timely, friendly and knowledgeable manner
  • Maintain a dependable record of attendance and timeliness

Qualifications:

Education:

  • A two year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study in finance; or equivalent banking and/or credit union experience

Experience:

  • One to three years of recent consumer lending experience preferred

Interpersonal Skills:

  • A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and/or is usually of a personal or sensitive nature. Work may involve motivating or influencing others. The ability to foster sound relationships with others in the company is important.

Other Skills:

  • Working Knowledge with Lending Software preferably XP
  • Must be able to type, use PC and general office equipment including 10 key calculator
    Must have good communication skills

Help Desk and Process Admin (Nashua)

Role: This is an entry-level position with room to grow in an advanced technology environment. The primary responsibilities of Help Desk and Process Administrator will be the main point of contact for incoming support requests, routine data processing, and Level 1 technical assistance. The Help Desk and Process Administrator will also work side by side with end-users to identify current operating procedures, clarify program objectives and develop innovative and efficient workflow solutions to meet business objectives and to write and maintain change management documentation.

The essential requirements for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide Level 1 response for users requiring assistance with IT issues.  
  • Research and track issues to resolution, updating the internal knowledge base and/or communicating updates to relevant employee stakeholders.
  • Perform Processing and support for core systems and their ancillary programs.  
  • Support and maintain user accounts including password resets, user rights, permissions and systems groups.  Escalate more involved problems to the appropriate tier 2/3 support teams.  Act as a liaison between end users and technical escalation teams.
  • Analyze department processes and provide technical expertise and recommendations in assessing and implementing new workflow projects to support and enhance our existing process.  
  • Assist in the creation of integrated-systems design and functional specifications for all new development processes and projects.  

Qualifications: This position requires that an active membership with the Infragard, Critical Infrastructure Group be established and maintained. This position will also require training and certification in core related products such as Nautilus and Opcon Automation. 

Education:

  • High School Diploma.
  • Working towards a Post-Secondary degree or training in Computer Science or Information Systems is desirable.  
  • Other related professional training, certificate programs, or related education is desirable.

Experience:

  • Experience with Fiserv XP2 financial platform.
  • Administrative experience with Microsoft AD Environments desirable. 
  • Experience with document imaging and workflow systems.
  • 5 years end-user, technology experience in an office environment preferred.

Skills:

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Products.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Strong Oral, Written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities.
  • Proven ability to be flexible and work hard, both independently and as a team in a high pressure on-call environment.  
  • General knowledge of databases, reports, computer systems, etc.
  • Able and willing to rotate on-call support and after-hours month end processing.
  • Willingness to work occasionally outside of normal business hours.
  • A results oriented individual who thrives working in a fast paced environment.  
  • Powershell, VBscript, and SQL programming a plus

Secondary Market/Compliance Specialist (Nashua)

The essential requirements for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Performs daily operations of the secondary mortgage system.
  • Develops/maintains policies and procedures for secondary loan activities. Conducts periodic reviews of existing systems and procedures to ensure maximum efficiency and legal compliance. Recommends improvements in lending and funding practices which will further the objectives of the Credit Union.
  • Analyses loan data reports, notify management of any corrective action. Reconcile GL and TCU secondary loan accounts.
  • Ensure all mortgage lending activities are in compliance with established policies, procedures, rules and regulations.
  • Perform monthly audits.
  • Review and deliver rate change analysis notices to members.
  • Works with underwriter/auditor as the back-up.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Equivalent to a college degree (Associate or BS or BA in a relevant field)

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of related/similar experience
  • Experience with Freddie Mac desired

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Extensive knowledge of consumer, commercial and real estate lending practices and procedures
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Microsoft office spreadsheet and word processing software
  • NMLS # a plus

Physical Requirements:

  • Sitting in office environment
  • Bending, reaching, typing, filing

Contact Center Representative (Nashua)

Role: A Contact Center Representative ensures that members’ banking needs are handled in a friendly, accurate and timely manner, utilizing Service Strategies. The Contact Center Representative is the Credit Union’s telephone ambassador, creating a positive experience that directly contributes to member satisfaction and loyalty. The hours for this position will also include some nights and weekends.

The essential requirements for this position include, but are not limited to:

Essential Job Functions:

  • Professionally handle a large volume of inbound and outbound telephone calls
  • Handle member account transactions with accuracy and a sense of urgency
  • Work collaboratively with all internal members to resolve all member inquiries in a timely and efficient manner
  • Cover a wide variety of work responsibilities; including but not limited to speaking directly with members
  • Promote products and services to meet or exceed department and company objectives; cross-selling products and services
  • Fulfill the sales goals established for the Contact Center
  • Job functions will include: responding to members via telephone, online chat and emails, taking loan applications, analyze credit reports, process banking transactions, quoting payoffs, setting up memberships via online applications, troubleshooting online banking issues and set ups, any job function a virtual branch would handle. Plus any other job assigned.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Post-secondary education a plus

Experience:

  • Experience as a member service representative is required
  • Experience in a contact/call center environment is preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in sales is required
  • Previous lending experience is a plus

Skills:

  • Sales acumen and enthusiasm about cross-selling required
  • Keyboarding skills required
  • Proficient in Microsoft products
  • Ability to be a problem solver
  • Being comfortable initiating conversations with people about products and services
