Commercial Services Specialist (Nashua)

Role: Develop and maintain current business products.  Coordinate with Branch Management regarding business products. Assist the Commercial Lending department with filing, appraisals, reports, review files for accuracy. Provide quality services to business clients.

The essential requirements for this position include, but are not limited to:

Essential Job Functions:

  • Develop and maintain existing business deposit products.
  • Create and improve business services.
  • Support branches with promotion and sales of business accounts and services.
  • Work with vendors to provide quality business services to our membership.
  • Assistant with opening of new business accounts and activating various business services.
  • Act as conduit between Commercial Services and Branch Management.
  • As needed, provide account services to business clients (i.e. loan advances, payments, loan bookings, transferring funds, adjusting holds, etc..).
  • Occasional on-site visit with relationship manager at business client’s office(s).
  • Keep track of local competition’s promotions, interest rates, fee pricing and account services.
  • Provide friendly, professional, personalized service to all members by modeling and using Service Strategy skills.

Non-essential Job Functions:

  • Assist the commercial credit team in developing the commercial credit file on business applicants.
  • Ordering Appraisals.
  • Ordering the “start legal” on pending loan closings.
  • Review Loan Files for accuracy.
  • Filing UCCs and Title applications.
  • Ordering Flood Determinations, Credit Bureaus.
  • Data Entry as needed
  • Maintaining Various Department Logs.
  • Back up on SBA Colsen Report.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Associates in Finance, Accounting, business or related degree.  
  • 1-3 years of similar experience.

Other Skills/Abilities:

  • Sales and Customer Service experience
  • Computer skills
  • Intermediate experience using Microsoft Excel

Secondary Market/Compliance Specialist (Nashua)

The essential requirements for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Performs daily operations of the secondary mortgage system.
  • Develops/maintains policies and procedures for secondary loan activities. Conducts periodic reviews of existing systems and procedures to ensure maximum efficiency and legal compliance. Recommends improvements in lending and funding practices which will further the objectives of the Credit Union.
  • Analyses loan data reports, notify management of any corrective action. Reconcile GL and TCU secondary loan accounts.
  • Ensure all mortgage lending activities are in compliance with established policies, procedures, rules and regulations.
  • Perform monthly audits.
  • Review and deliver rate change analysis notices to members.
  • Works with underwriter/auditor as the back-up.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Equivalent to a college degree (Associate or BS or BA in a relevant field)

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of related/similar experience
  • Experience with Freddie Mac desired

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Extensive knowledge of consumer, commercial and real estate lending practices and procedures
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Microsoft office spreadsheet and word processing software
  • NMLS # a plus

Physical Requirements:

  • Sitting in office environment
  • Bending, reaching, typing, filing

Senior Vice President of Human Resources (Nashua)

The essential requirements for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for the strategic HR planning to provide the organization with the best people talent available
  • Develop and administer all dimensions of the compensation plan. Maintain job descriptions, salary market level grades to ensure a fair compensation structure
  • Assist with the preparation of the annual budget to include rewards program and annual merit increase
  • Maintain companywide annual performance review program
  • Develop and lead standard recruiting and hiring practices and procedures necessary to recruit and retain qualified staff
  • Review and update HR policies and procedures, employee handbook
  • Remain current in the industry by participating in conferences and educational opportunities, participate in professional organization
  • Maintain a competitive and comprehensive employee benefits plans
  • Responsible for 401K/pension products
  • Assure compliance with applicable State and Federal laws, regulations and policies
  • Ensure the HR staff maintains accurate employee personnel files, benefits files and reports
  • Follow and lead by example the Service Strategies philosophy.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Equivalent to a college degree (BS or BA in a relevant field)
  • Professional certification desired

Experience:

  • Five to eight years of similar or related experience
  • Must have experience in Strategic HR planning
  • Payroll administration, 401K and pension product experience
  • Knowledge/experience desired in working with financial, state and federal audits
  • Knowledge/experience in Safety Management, Worker's Compensation/OSHA regulations and Leave of Absence (FMLA, STD, LTD) administration.

Teller (Derry)

The essential requirements for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing friendly, professional, personalized service to all members, using Service Strategies
  • Accurate handling of money
  • Handling member account transactions with accuracy and a sense of urgency
  • Working collaboratively with all internal members to resolve all member inquiries in a timely and efficient manner
  • Covering a wide variety of work responsibilities; filling needs when other tellers are away from their work stations including working at the drive-up window as needed
  • Promoting products and services to meet or exceed branch and company objectives; cross-selling products and services

Qualifications:

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED required

Experience:

  • Prior teller/ cash handling experience preferred
  • Customer service skills essential

Skills:

  • Good communication skills
  • Strong Computer skills
  • Sales acumen
  • Attention to detail

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds
