Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Providing friendly, professional, personalized service to all members, using Service Strategies
  • Cash handling accuracy
  • Handling member account transactions with accuracy and a sense of urgency
  • Works collaboratively with all internal members to resolve all member inquiries in a timely and efficient manner
  • Covering a wide variety of work responsibilities; filling needs when other tellers are away from their work stations including working at the drive-up window as needed
  • Promoting products and services to meet or exceed branch and company objectives; cross-selling products and services

Qualifications:

Education:

  • High School or GED required

Experience:

  • Prior teller/ cash handling experience preferred
  • Customer service skills essential

Skills:

  • Billingual (Spanish/English) skills required
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong Computer skills

Physical Requirements:

Contact Center Representative (Nashua)

Role: A Contact Center Representative ensures that members’ banking needs are handled in a friendly, accurate and timely manner, utilizing Service Strategies. The Contact Center Representative is the Credit Union’s telephone ambassador, creating a positive experience that directly contributes to member satisfaction and loyalty. The hours for this position will also include some nights and weekends.

The essential requirements for this position include, but are not limited to:

Essential Job Functions:

  • Professionally handle a large volume of inbound and outbound telephone calls
  • Handle member account transactions with accuracy and a sense of urgency
  • Work collaboratively with all internal members to resolve all member inquiries in a timely and efficient manner
  • Cover a wide variety of work responsibilities; including but not limited to speaking directly with members
  • Promote products and services to meet or exceed department and company objectives; cross-selling products and services
  • Fulfill the sales goals established for the Contact Center
  • Job functions will include: responding to members via telephone, online chat and emails, taking loan applications, analyze credit reports, process banking transactions, quoting payoffs, setting up memberships via online applications, troubleshooting online banking issues and set ups, any job function a virtual branch would handle. Plus any other job assigned.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Post-secondary education a plus

Experience:

  • Experience as a member service representative is required
  • Experience in a contact/call center environment is preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in sales is required
  • Previous lending experience is a plus

Skills:

  • Sales acumen and enthusiasm about cross-selling required
  • Keyboarding skills required
  • Proficient in Microsoft products
  • Ability to be a problem solver
  • Being comfortable initiating conversations with people about products and services
  • Ability to work both independently and also as part of a team

Operations Audit Specialist (Nashua)

Role: To support the operations of the credit union through audit of operational records and reports. This position is responsible to performs straight-forward, routine tasks as directed within the Operations Department.  This is a part-time position, 26 hours per week.     

Major Duties and Responsibilities

New Account Audit:

  • Review new memberships and accounts for input accuracy and compliance
  • Prepare audit correction notices for Branch Management
  • Review daily reports to ensure all new membership documents have been submitted for audit
  • Prepare quarterly list of signature cards not received
  • Keep Manager informed of patterns of activity that may signal more training for the front line staff.
  • Audits to be completed within the rules of internal policy and regulatory requirements.

Other Audits:

  • Perform weekly audits of other membership activity
  • Prepare audit correction notices for Branch Management

Expectations:

  • To carry out assigned responsibilities with zero errors
  • To keep management informed of any potential risk at all times
  • To maintain a professional work environment and businesslike appearance

Education:

  • High School diploma or GED required

Experience:

  • Up to six months of similar or related experience

Performance Skills:

  • Accuracy, attention to detail and organizational skills are required, as well as basic computer skills.

Interpersonal Skills:

  • Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are additional elements of the job. Work may involve personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization, generally regarding routine matters for purposes of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion.

Teller (Nashua)
